Georgia announced the shipment of a large batch of generators to Ukraine.
The Georgian government has decided to send Ukraine electric generators worth over half a million dollars.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," in December 2022, the Georgian government allocated over $500,000 for the purchase of generators for Ukraine. Previously, Georgian residents raised over $180,000, which they used to purchase 394 generators and send them to Ukraine.

The Georgian government has decided to donate generators to Ukraine. The order, signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, was approved at today's government meeting.

According to the document, the Georgian Energy Development Fund will purchase various types of generators worth 1.5 million lari (over $500,000) for delivery to Ukraine, Georgia-Online reported.

As a reminder, in September, the Georgian State Security Service and the Ukrainian Embassy exchanged accusations in the RDX smuggling case. The Ukrainian Embassy in Tbilisi stated that it had not received notification of the arrest of two Ukrainian citizens for smuggling explosives. The Georgian State Security Service reported that a witness in the case pointed to the Ukrainian special services as the mastermind.
